Method and System for Proactively Gauging Success/Productivity of a Meeting

Disclosed is a method and system for proactively gauging productivity of a meeting

while a user schedules the meeting with one or more invitees.

The system includes a calendaring module that contains schedule information of one or more invitees and a meeting invite form.

The meeting invite form includes one or more fields such as subject, attendees, date/time, and room/resources. The one or more fields could be decided based on the requirement of a user who is hosting the meeting.

The system includes a status bar that reflects potential success/productiveness of a meeting in accordance with the method disclosed herein. The system disclosed herein provides an option to the user to decide a number of rules/components for gauging the potential success/productiveness of the meeting. For example, rules concerning a size of a room, availability of attendees, an agenda, pending tasks from earlier meetings and a duration of meeting could decide success/productiveness of a meeting. Accordingly, as the user adds/modify these components, the status bar may change to indicate the potential success/productiveness of the meeting. The status bar guides a user to organize a productive meeting in an efficient manner.

Consider an exemplary scenario wherein the system disclosed herein guides a user to organize a meeting with an optimal productiveness as depicted by the figures 1-8.
