Abstract

Nowadays, the search is quite often and useful to find expected information. Different vendors provide search engine to support full text search. User can input one or multiple search keywords to trigger search. Most of cases, multiple search keywords are treated equivalently. However, in some situation, there are different weights for specified keyword. Some keywords is primary while some keyword is secondary. For example, the search keywords "red flowers" are combined with "red" and "flowers". In this case, "flower" is primary while "red" is secondary. If there are such relationship information detected, the hit results will be quite useful. Our idea is to analyze the specified search keywords and find their relationship of these search keywords. Furthermore, the different weights will be highlighted to users so that users can confirm or adjust the weight of search keywords. With this steps, the further searching against index can be precise and the more expected search result can be highlighted at the beginning of search result.
