System and Method for Enhanced Building Security

When a home (or any building) is left vacant for any length of time, e.g. vacation, an owner may take any number of measures to ensure that the home is secure or looks 'lived in'. Things like home security systems, automatic turning on/off lights, friends calling in occasionally, etc. This disclosure is an enhancement on current methods. Scenario of solution working

    Person A is going on vacation for two weeks. They want to take out extra security measures to ensure that the house looks lived in while they are away. They subscribe to a new service in which they choose a cohort of their friends (or others

who they trust) who are also members of this service as their 'enhanced security user group cohort'. Using driverless technology, the system will, according to a schedule (using defined social schedules between the cohort (such as Thursday night cards night), and also random times) coordinate the routing of one or more of the driverless cars of the cohort to the homeowners house; park the car(s) in the driveway in various spots and after a certain (random or defined) time, route the cars back to the cohorts' homes. This is repeated at various times during the two

weeks. Of course, various other additional enhancements could be incorporated such as lights coming on in the house as the cars arrive etc.

    The following are important points to note: 1. Based on a specified time period and location, a cohort of members are chosen

    2. This is based on social connections between the cohort and specified schedules therein and also using random times

    3. The system will define a schedule of time periods wherein one or more of the cohorts driverless cars, will be

routed to the location
parked in random parts of the location,
remain there for a period and after such time
routed back to their original source locations.

    This disclosure is an enhanced home (or building) security function. Leaving for any period of time can be nerve-wracking for owners. This disclosure proposes an enhancement of existing measures using driverless technology.
