Abstract

A disposable hatch will be improved by this invention in a way that the Device and Method for Contactless Magnetic field frozen flux door hinge will guide, actuate and control the opening process. Hereby the Contactless Magnetic field frozen flux door hinge will enable simplified opening of the exit the automated remove of the hatch, leading to the fact that the hazard of the removed hatch blocking the exit is no longer existing. This benefit is accomplished by the passengers easily pulling in and down on a handle recessed into the top of the door and initiating the exit's self-opening mechanism, enabled by the Contactless Magnetic field frozen flux door hinge which will enables a simplified opening of the exit and the automated removal of the hatch, whereby the door rotates up and out on a Contactless Magnetic field frozen flux hinge at the top of the exit frame.

The objective of the invention is a Device and Method for Contactless Magnetic field frozen flux door hinge.

The disposable hatch type exit is the most common, where the operator must first remove the hatch from its frame before disposing of it on the wing, away from the exit.

The disposable hatch will be improved by this invention in a way that the Device and Method for Contactless Magnetic field frozen flux door hinge will guide, actuate and control the opening process. Summarisation how it works.

In a first step the Frozen Flux & distance is applied. After that the Door is closed. Now the restoring force is acting. In case of emergency the door locks are released and the restoring force is opening the hatch.

In an alternative layout the used magnets can be permanent magnets, e.g. high strength neodymium magnets. These magnets would act in a way as described, so that the weight of the hatch is neutralized and the hatch opening process is enabled, including the fixation in open position.

Figures 1 to 4 below will show the general mechanism.
