Abstract

The key idea of this disclosure is to have the robot monitor the mental and physical status of the shadowee ( its owner ) via various channels available. It could collect biological data via channel through wearable devices (e.g. heart rate, temperature ) or via facial detection. It could collect the mental status of its shadowee via voice recognition, monitoring the social network messaging/post/comments. With these information available, the robot could use the analytics recipes downloaded from its cloud repository to interpret the feeling and healthiness of its shadowee, and update its outlook (e.g. eye color, heart color) accordingly. The robot also provide a web channel that allow authorized parties to access the data of analyzed result.

As with recent announcement of commercial robot, it is getting clear that humanoid robot will take an important role of human life in near future. With these robots, it can not only help human to automatic many things that was previously tedious to do , but also interact with us at a sentiment level. For example, they can hear what way said and analyze the sentimental meaning of our wording.

Among many use cases of humanoid robot, this disclosure would like to introduce an operational model of the robot - the shadow mode. The purpose of introducing this mode is help the owner of the robot to sense the overall mental and physically healthiness of him /her by just looking at the robot. This also bring in more opportunity for remote healthcare through this new channel.

   2. the robot could collect shadowee's mental status via sentiment analysis of his conversation and social footprint

   3. the robot reflect the status of his shadowee via his outlooks, including, but not limits to, his eye color , heart pulse, physical posture, and voice tone

  4. The outlook of the robot is also made available online with access control for remote monitoring.
