Disclosed is a method and system for enabling a drone to maintain balance while delivering multiple products to various destination points along a route for optimal flying and preservation of energy.

In accordance with the method and system disclosed herein, the drone is configured to retrieve details (such as dimension and weight) for each package that is planned for delivery on a given route. Based on the details, the multiple packages are arranged/positioned on the drone so that the drone attains a balanced mode. Thereafter, as the drone delivers a package, the details about the remaining packages are used to reposition the multiple packages so as to keep the drone in the balanced mode for optimal flying and preservation of energy. Figure 1 illustrates an exemplary scenario.

As illustrated in Figure1, the drone automatically repositioned remaining three packages so as to keep the drone in the balanced mode.

In an implementation, a drone includes a hanger device. The hanger device includes hanger rods. The hanger rods are a series of centered straight rods and circular rods around a perimeter that hangs below the drone. Further, the hanger rods have a series of motorized and movable claws in order to automatically re-arrange the packages. The claws that hold packages are movable side to side around the hanger device in any direction. Additionally, the claws can be extended downward from the hanger device to ensure a safe drop off.

The drone also includes an information retrieval module that retrieves details (such dimensions and weight) about the packages.

In order to enable the drone to arrange/position the packages on the drone, a

positioning module is included in the drone. The positioning module mathematically position packages in a perfect balance using formulas of torque (distance and weight from the center of gravity) and keeping all sides equal through precise knowledge of the packages being held by each claw.

The positioning module ensures that the gravitational force applied by a weight on the west side of center is equal to a gravitational force applied on the east side of center.
