Abstract

In this era of "Mobile" various technologies have been emerging to make the mobile devices, associated services smarter. One such technology is the 2D/3D phone which enables the GUI projections on the air. In 2D devices the projector projects the content in the air against the screen while in 3D devices the projector projects the content in air in a 3 dimensional manner. While the user is closer to the phone the required parameters of the presentation layer are different than when he/she is away from the phone. Similarly the user may have to use the phone outdoor or varying environmental parameters ex: brightness etc. The 2D/3D projections need to auto adjust accordingly which does not exist presently. A method and apparatus is proposed to overcome such limitations.

The proliferation of mobile devices have emerged to various enhancements. One such emerging technology is 2D and 3D models where the display in projected onto air. Such models are static and are not self adjusting to the vicinity of the users.

Summary:

The static capabilities of the presentation layer in the current 2D/3D mobiles can be overcome through the method and apparatus proposed.
