Abstract

A method and system is disclosed for targeting an audible alarm to a single person. The method and system provides a single tunable alarm clock which is designated to wake up multiple users at different times in the morning. The system includes a set of non-electronic ear plugs configured to block alarm sound (a range of frequencies) based on various configurations such as alarm volume and alarm tone frequency.

Disclosed is a method and system for targeting an audible alarm to a single person.

The method and system provides a single tunable alarm clock which is designated to

wake up or alert multiple users at different times so that each alarm only alerts the

targeted person. The tunable alarm clock is configured to be set up for alarms for different times. Each alarm setup includes an alarm time, an alarm volume and an alarm tone frequency. Accordingly, based on the above parameters different alarms are targeted for different people.

The system also includes a set of non-electronic ear plugs which are configured to block a range of frequencies to a higher degree than other frequencies. Accordingly, an ear plug blocks alarm sounds (a range of frequencies) based on an alarm volume and an alarm frequency tone. Therefore, different people can wear different ear plugs

which are specifically configured to block sound of alarms that are set for other people.

In an exemplary embodiment, the tunable alarm clock is used to wake up user A and user B. User A requires an alarm one hour before user B. Accordingly, the tunable alarm clock is set with two different alarms (alarm A and alarm B), one for user A and other for user B.
