Method and System for Augmenting Electronic Maps with Cosmetic Advertisements (Ads) Based on Sensor Data

Every individual buys cosmetic products. Usage of cosmetics may depend on environmental parameters of location. For example, a location may be dusty, a high-salt region, subject to ultraviolet rays, etc. There is an opportunity to provide appropriate advertisements (Ads) to users based on predicted environment parameters of location. Disclosed is a method and system for augmenting electronic maps with cosmetic Ads based on sensor data. The method and system utilizes environment parameter data collected from one or more sensors installed at a plurality of public locations to analyze environmental conditions and suggest appropriate cosmetic Ads to users.

In accordance with the method and system, as illustrated in Figure 1, one or more sensors are installed at a plurality of public locations. For example, buildings, mobile devices, or towers are good examples. One or more sensors gather data regarding the environmental parameters and transfers the gathered data to a remote server for analysis. The remote server clusters the gathered data, analyzes the gathered data based on location and degree of intensity of the parameters, and accordingly overlays the analyzed data as a boundary on an electronic map. Subsequently, when a user

browses an electronic map with respect to the location, the user is shown location based various environmental parameters along with deg...
