Today host sends an invite for a meeting to participants with meeting details such as location, calling details, web meeting, time, agenda, etc. As a participant at another location, I want to invite additional participants and book a meeting room. Today I can delegate meeting to another person or I can achieve this by creating a new meeting invite with the same details inviting more people with the local location details. If the original meeting is updated or rescheduled, I need to manually update the associated meeting event created by me. It is difficult to handle the last minute changes in the meeting invite manually, leading to waste of resources and time of the participants. Participants may miss the meeting updates.
Define a system that will enable participant to create a meeting event (called linked meeting) linked to the original meeting invite. Linked meeting invite will inherit the required details from the original meeting and also provide functionality to add the new participants, location and notes.
If original meeting is updated, cancelled or rescheduled, the linked meeting should also get updated, cancelled or rescheduled.
The details inherited from the original meetings are Meeting Title, Description, Time, Calling details and Web meeting details, etc.
Host of the original meeting is informed with the linked meeting details. Host can view the linked meeting details from the original meeting and can approve/reject the linked meeting. After that t...
