In daily work of globalization testing and translation verification testing preparation, testers need to frequently switch between language builds, either for executing test case / verifying defects, or capturing screenshot for native language expert review. The test lead also need to do the same actions to double check the work result of each tester. Generally, test lead need to do spot-checking of the images of tens of languages.

During the above task execution, if the tester or test lead missed to select the correct language, it will bring in rework, for some continuous delivery projects, the working rhythm is fast, if any rework happen, it will overburden the File Handling Engineer, the native language expert, the tester and the project lead.

A method to quickly identify language character category on images by mobile device scanning will be helpful to the entire team, as well as improve the work efficiency.
