Abstract

Body temperature can be gathered by thermistor which settled inside of tight underwear, we select some spots depends on the research result, if the temperature of these spots can match a certain emotion, we display the mood information on a tag which can be put on a person's clothes to show his/her current emotion. The temperature data can be transferred by bluetooth into a processor settled inside of the tag and be processed to convert into an emotion information

A method of measuring emotions by collecting body status information

It's very hard to measure a person's emotion, we candescribe our emotions, or other people can guess our emotions by our face expressions, and these ways are very subjective. According to research result from Aalto university, our emotion can change our body status, in this case, we can define our emotion by measure our body physically and display this information on a tag and put it on the person's clothes. It can be very fun, and also be practical in some formal situations, such as psychology research or treatment, or lie detection.

Declare Points:

distinguish user's emotion by it's body status and transfer this information to some device like a tag

use several thermistor spots settled in underwear to gather body temperature information

According to Aalto University's research, emotions can influence body's temperature

if we can collect enough body temperature information, a person's emotion can be estimated objectively. Base on above bodily maps, I find if we collect the body temperature in four spots, then we can clearly define these 14 emotions. The four spots allocate as below picture.

From above picture we can find 6 spots rather than 4, that is because we have 2 arms and feet, but if we collect any arm or foot's temperature, it will be enough for the measurement, therefore, the spots are on chest, belly, one arm and one feet. Combine previous 2 pictures, I summarized below table.
