Abstract

Nowadays the success of presentation is a critical aspect because it is a key for the business activities. The success of a slideshow depends not only on the argument but also on speaker skills to explain it, adapting the presentation to the audience in order to capture the attention. Usually a slideshow is a set of static slides and it can be shown to different audiences with different level of knowledge and requests. This article describes a method for the automatically rework of a presentation according the audience feedback in order to maintain attention and satisfaction.

This article describes a method and a system to optimize the content of the slides relying on feedback and questions received from the public. In particular, during the speech, the content is elaborated in order to make the presentation complete, engaging and on schedule. According to input received from the audience, both details level and presentation topics are dynamically modified. This method can manage typical situation like the ones below.

Scenario 1: During the presentation, one person in the audience asks a specific question compared with the contents of current slideshow. The method modifies the sequence and the content of the slides to reply exactly to the request. Scenario 2: During the presentation, if the concentration of the audience decreases, the system increases dynamic transactions using animation and video in order to capture the public attention and the slide's content is modified

with a high information level.

Scenario 3: During the presentation, the audience gives clarification about the terminology: the system automatically and dynamically managed the presentation using a less specific language. Otherwise, if the questions are technical and precise, the system changes the presentation with an appropriate vocabulary
Scenario 4: Based on questions from the audience, the order of the slides is changed by the system to focus attention on an argument rather than another Scenario 5: After a question, if the answer is in the slide, the system highlights the response to give it prominence

Based on the specific knowledge center configurations, after a question, the system can be able to search the answer automatically in it. The solution can use following systems to modify ad hoc a presentation:


- Audio system to record questions and perform a semantic processing

- Video system to record the expression and body language to evaluate the audience attention.
