Title: Lateral Unloading Large‐Bale Collector Wagon
Brief Description of the Drawings: Figure 1 is a schematic plan view of an agricultural field operation that includes collecting material bales with a large‐bale collector wagon and transferring the material bales from the wagon onto a truck trailer bed.
Description: As shown in the attached illustration and described below, a large‐bale collector wagon that transversely transfers its load of collected bales is disclosed.
As illustrated in Figure 1, large rectangular material bales are created and then deposited onto a field as part of an agricultural operation. The deposited bales are collected and loaded onto a large‐bale wagon in much the same manner that a CRAI CP 200 P Automatic prismatic‐shaped bale‐rollerholder trailer is used to collect and load material bales. In the attached illustration the wagon is shown as being drawn by a vehicle, such as an agricultural tractor. The collected bales may be stacked to a desired height, for example stacked 3 bales high, to provide for an arrangement that closely matches an optimal load configuration for an unloading area, such as the platform of a truck bed or trailer.
When it is desired to unload the bales from the wagon to the unloading area, the operator positions the wagon alongside the unloading area as shown in Figure 1.
In the configuration of this disclosure, a means for leveling the wagon floor with a truck bed or trailer parked immediately next to the wagon and subsequently transferring the load of bales onto the truck bed in a transverse manner. The ...
