Many times we purchase a bulk of product from shopping complex, and ask for home delivery of the purchased product. Purchasing of product can be online and the products will be delivered at home. Shopping at malls could be time consuming and a tedious process. During sales/ peak seasons getting a parking slot would be cumbersome with additional wait time to get a parking slot. So we need a method and system by which home delivery can be optimized. This will help to reduce overall road traffic optimization, and also reduced home delivery cost

Proposed is a method and system by which

1. While purchasing product online or on the spot, software installed in the shopping complex server will calculate the total volume of the packed purchased products, to know how much space will be occupied in the home delivery vehicle. Accordingly it will calculate the remaining available space in the delivery vehicle.

2. Based on the delivery address of the purchased product, software installed in the shopping complex will identify possible route and accordingly will identify possible other potential customers around the route who may also purchase product online, or on the spot.

3. Software installed in the shopping complex will provide promotional offer to the identified potential customer so that all the purchased products by all customers can be delivered together. The promotion could be discount on product, coupon, free gift etc.

4. Any Customer can also search other nearby customers to accept common home delivery and accordingly the participating customers can also get promotional offer. Any Customer can create a request in his mobile app with his shopping list and accordingly the mobile app will search for other potential customers nearby who can purchase product together and can get promotional offer.
