Method and System for Recommending a Photographic Pose to a User

Disclosed is a method and system for recommending a photographic pose to a user while taking one or more photographs in one or more locations at a particular point in time using a camera. The method and system includes performing a search on one or more social networking websites for similar photographs captured at the one or more locations at a particular point in time. Photographic poses of such similar photographs are identified and recommended to the user.

In accordance with the method and system, one or more photographs published on one or more social networking websites are tracked. The tracking includes tracking number of likes on the one or more photographs and comments posted about the one or more photographs. The one or more photographs are ranked based on the number of likes and comments. Further, location and time of the one or more photographs are captured and stored. Along with the location and time, information about one or more famous landmarks captured in the one or more photographs is stored. For example, a famous image object such as Brussels Atomium on a photograph may be tagged to Brussels in Belgium whereas a famous image object such as Eiffel tower on the photograph may be tagged to Paris in France.

Thereafter, presence of humans in the one or more photographs is identified using image object extraction and analysis method. Additionally, posture of a human in the one or more...
