A method and system is disclosed for 3D-touch interactivity with native ads on handheld devices without interrupting the content consumption experience. When user presses down heavily over the advertising unit on a handheld device, an advertisement landing page or a destination URL pops-up and floats over the native ad unit in the same viewport to have a peek. Description

Limited size of display screen is an omnipresent concern on handheld devices.  Clicking through native ads breaks the flow of content consumption by taking over the entire screen.  At present, the native ads are buried in the content stream and publishers discourage interactivity on such units because the publishers want to keep user consuming the content without being distracted or diverted to another destination.
