Abstract

In this disclosure, we have developed novel high performance 3 layer structures for winter greenhouse film using EscoreneTM Ultra EVA resin (EVA) and EnableTM metallocene polyethylene (mPE), supplied by ExxonMobil Chemical Company, Houston, TX. The solutions offer a series of benefits:

 Excellent thermicity required to maintain greenhouse temperature level and shorten plant maturation period.

 Superior film optics required for plant growth assisting to increase the temperature in the greenhouse.

 Enhanced creep resistance and toughness required to provide winter greenhouse film with better sustainability.

 20% downgauging opportunity to provide more economical solutions.
 Blending of EVA and mPE in the core layer to provide more economical solutions.
