Abstract

Disclosed is a method and system for transitioning user’s mood from one category to other category. A mood category can be one of, but not limited to sad, happy, angry, and annoyed. The method determines user’s current mood and a target mood category. Accordingly, the method recommends personalized content for transitioning user’s current mood to the target mood category.

Disclosed is a method and system for transitioning user's mood from one category to other category. A mood category can be one of, but not limited to sad, happy, angry, and annoyed.

Fig.1 illustrates flow chart for the method for transitioning user's mood from one category to other category.

As illustrated in the fig. 1, the method obtain data from various sensors associated with a user such as biometric and wearable sensors for determining current mood (transitional mood value) of the user. In addition to employing biometric and wearable sensors, the method determines a precise personalized transitional mood category value for users based on users' profiles attributes (age, gender, geo location), recent mood transitions, feedback from recent mood transition, recently delivered content, and analyzing the content of recent post made by that users.

Further, the method uses machine learning processes to improve accuracy of determination of a transitional mood value of a user. For example, the method employs one or more machine learning techniques such as, but not limited to, pattern recognition, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and clustering.

Thereafter, the method determines that a next transitional mood value for the user.

Accordingly, one or more news feeds obtained from one more social networking sites
