Abstract

A method and system is disclosed for rearranging search results to provide satisfactory search results to a user when the user searches again with one or more similar search keywords pertaining to search keywords used in the past. When the user clicks on a search result, the method and system records a click count and corresponding search keywords that had fetched the search result. If the user searches again using similar search keywords pertaining to the search keywords used previously, the method and system identifies candidate keywords from the previously used search keywords that provided a maximum click count. The method and system, then, rearranges the search results in accordance with the candidate search keywords that were identified.
