Method to perform actions on the analyzed notifications generated from IM alerts set against users name by different contacts .

Instant messaging is a widely used quick communication device. On an average, a computer professional uses IM for at least 1 hour per day which is collective information. This usage is termed to be business or personal usage. Considering business, there are situations when one feels to keep out from certain contacts to concentrate and complete deliverables. There are various ways to avoid these users like, customizing lists based on assignment of status to various groups or even individuals. These status can be default IM provided statuses or even user defined once. But, this list remains a static list where the contacts will all the time see the user based on the configured status. This does not solve certain situations when the user wants to be seen / available for all in his list due to business needs, but just wants to prioritize them based on the situation.

One of the common scenarios is, when contacts set an "Alert" on the users profile. For e.g. " Alert me when available". This alert is obviously set that the contact can reach the user as soon as user is available. As the user does not want to set a static Block, Away, DND, etc list, how can user better tackle with these contacts who want to contact him as soon as user is available. These contacts may be is regular team members or even some company professionals, friends etc. user cannot add everybody in the status management list and at the same time user wants to prioritize these to give preference to the contacts to whom user needs to give attention at the start. How do we solve this issue?

To develop a engine which will assist the user to take action on the information generated from "Alerts Set for him by other contacts". This action can be setting different status for different individual every time BEFORE the user logs in to the IM based on the ALERT information which is generated on RUNTIME. Moreover, setting different time intervals for different contacts based on the current situation priority. This priority can be either automatically decided by the system or manual decided based on the priority work in hand of the user.

As user is a co-ordinator,...
