Abstract

Currently all item display model on mobile device are based on 2D, we need to move the screen by finger slipping frequently, it is hard to find what you want in an efficient way. We need different content display theme based on time and location, and there is no such method to display automatically and there is no a good solution to display large amount of applications on limited screen.

This disclosure is to design a dynamic 3D ball display and layout model on mobile device. The 3D model will spin at a specified speed and pause once touching the ball. By using this model, self-adaptation feature will change to related layout per time / location / hotspot change; favorite items will be displayed at the first appearance based on time and location; user can choose different display items like contact list or applications on different layer (inner ball).
