A method and system is disclosed for enabling a user to dynamically update one or

more portions of a document while the document is being printed by a printer.

In accordance with the method and system disclosed herein, once a digital object (such as a document) is submitted for printing, the method determines portions of the digital objected being printed currently. Accordingly, portions of the digital object not under any actions are communicated to the user so as to enable the user to update the portions. At this point, the user can directly update content on a portion where no action is identified and accordingly the method syncs the content to the printer. Further, the user can select any action, like pause and accordingly the action is send to the printer, and accordingly the digital object stops moving, till the time user resumes.

Accordingly, the updated content is sent to the printer and appropriate section is updated.

The following Figure illustrates a scenario where a user has submitted a document for printing. In accordance with the method, the user can visualize a portion of the document that can be updated dynamically (blue box), and accordingly user can update the portion and submit for printing.
