Improved installation for aircraft monuments

The following concerns an improved way of installation for monuments, systems or hat racks in an aircraft.

A continuous rail through an aircraft in flight direction is used for an installation of hat racks, galleys and systems or other monuments. This rail has a U-profile minimizing the load introduction angle of the galley rod. An attachment could be performed in the following or similar ways:

Widening of the rotation angle:

The installation time of e.g. hatracks could be reduced by using an anti-rotation device with a single snap and click solution.

An installation position on top of the hatracks can be reached by using a lanyard.

Furthermore, an additional crash margin or a multiple load path could also be reached via a lanyard.

The installation itself might e.g. be realized as follows:


1. Lower attachment point / lower rail

5. Upper attachment rod attachment

Maintenance services might e.g. be performed via Rod body disconnection. The installation position might then be reachable via the lanyards.
