A method to associate video progress bar with subtitle

Foreign language learners often watch foreign language movies and videos to practice listening. Video file and subtitle file are usually separate. When playing video using media player , there are two modes: subtitles loaded and subtitles not loaded. But for foreign language learners, their needs are: they don't want to see the subtitles the whole time, they need to see the subtitles only when they cannot understand the lines in video. When they cannot hear clearly, they playback, listen again and read the subtitles to check whether their understanding is correct. They click backward button and hope the video rollback to the exact beginning of last sentence. If the subtitles are in foreign language, they want to read the native language subtitles as well. But the reality is: when they cannot understand the lines, they have to load subtitles manually, adjust the timeline to the beginning of last sentence. If the foreign language subtitles are difficult to understand, they have to pick up word in dictionary by themselves, which is a waste of precious time.
