Method and System for Performing Healthcare Analytics for Pets

A method and system is disclosed for performing healthcare analytics for pets. The system gathers information from a pet's health and environmental sensors. Thereafter, the system compares the information with historical information and psychological behavior for deciding if the pet is healthy.

The system collects pet's data by employing biological/GPS sensors, the data collected includes position of the pet, speed/acceleration, altitude, body temperature, heart rate, pulse rate, body pressure and other health related data.

The system also collects environmental data by appropriate sensors, the data collected includes ambient room temperature, pressure, light sensor, sound, and air quality.

The pet's data and the environmental data are combined and analyzed to learn about pet's behavior. The system can infer pet's behavior aspects such as sleep routing, food routines, and activity/walking routine. In an instance, the more data the system can collect, the system can infer more details about the pet and its behavior.

In order to determine if a pet is healthy or not, the system compares environmental sensors' data with biological sensors'/health sensors' data to determine if the pet is physically or mentally ok. With big data, the system compares historical pet data with current pet data to determine if there are any changes to it physically or mentally.
