Disclosed is a method to perform more efficient and relevant searches within context to get the content that is beyond the user-input terms but closely related to them.

    When searching a large repository of information such as a software product information centre, it is difficult to find all the relevant results, which are related to

the searched term(s) but doesn't contain the search term(s). Most searches focus on the terms input by the user, and use these terms to find out the pages which contain them but without any context. There are many other pages which although don't contain the terms input by user, but they contain information relevant to the context of the input words.

This disclosure proposes that, base on the first round of search results, which

are a result of simply searching for the input term(s) in a software product information centre, applying a sentence analysis technique to the first round of search results to extract important words such as verbs and nouns within the same sentence that contains the user-input search terms or between sentences. These important words do not include the user-input search terms. Then a secondary search is performed based on these new words individually or in combination. To further bound the new words to search, a technique is utilized to get a sub-set of extracted words which were also input by any users historically as search term.
