Abstract

Briefly, the method is used to prevent peeping on electronic devices and to ensure the information security. The system monitors and analyses the thermographic images captured by the infrared camera. Preset actions for information protection will be launched while abnormal changes is happening on the thermographic images. The abnormal changes are such as area, distance, etc.

As electronic devices become indispensable to people's life and more electronic devices are often used in public places, information security is getting more and more important. The users of electronic devices need to prevent the side or rear unrelated persons to observe the content on the screen. For example, to check private email via notebook computer at airports, to withdraw cash at an ATM (Automated Teller Machine), to check bank account via smart mobile at railway stations.

An anti-spy film is used to solve the problem, and the content on screen can only be viewed at right angles. But it can not prevent others to close and observe the content on screen from behind the user.

Another prior art to solve the problem is to use camera and face recognition to detect if others are approaching the screen. But the method does not work

when the face can not be detected for some reasons, for example, covering the face.

Here a new method will be provided to conveniently and accurately prevent peeping, to ensure the security of information.
