As more and more people to use the smart device to watch video, we can use the smart device to collect the information which part of the video the customer is most interested in. For example, we can collect which part makes most people laugh, cry, stare at the screen or make them boring and then use this information to mark the hot part of the video, or to use it to generate an promotion for this video.

We try to claim a system and apparatus to collect interest information who watch the media on smart device.

1. Automatically collect the emotion/attention changes of the customer who watch the media by the camera on the smart device
2. During a long boring video, the audience will lose their concentration and focus on other things(The audience did not fast forward the video). We can detect this in following ways.

a)Detect whether the audience is still in the scope of camera.

b)Detect the angle change between the camera and the surface of the audience's face, if the angle is not in a certian range, we can conclude we lost the focus of audience.

c)Detect the video app whether run or display in foreground.

3. While the audience is watching the video with the mobile device, the back camera can help detect the cardiograph change, which is another indicator of audience emotion
