In general, providing a service for digital identity documents to replace physical documents for an institution requires seamless integration into a well-established secure system that is comfortable to the institution. Moreover, configuration of an infrastructure for a cloud service is tedious as well as open to security issues. Therefore, a method and system is required which facilitates secure self-configuration services for delivering identity documents through cloud services.

Disclosed is a method and system for facilitating secure self-configuration services for delivering identity documents via cloud services. The method and system provisions configuration of the services that are provided to an issuer to run within an intranet. Further, the method and system provides a self-configuration process through installed intranet services from an issuer based on basic account information provided.
