Abstract

A collapsible support structure in controller which supports the drive unit assembly of controller. The support structure mainly includes two flexible beam on the bottom base plate assembly and a bridge structure bracket on the bracket assembly of drive unit assembly. The flexible beam can rotate around its hinge, the bridge structure includes two mounting holes which can fix the flexible beam. Lift the drive unit assembly in the controller by rotating the flexible beam to a 90 degrees. Considering the convenience connection of all units in the PLC robot controller, the drive unit is located under the bleeder. The connectors of drive unit are hidden by controller base bracket and other units, as a result, the enclosure of controller has to be designed to have an enough space for operator to performing the electrical connection. The collapsible support structure can achieve the following functions: ·Can lift the drive unit assembly by unfolding the two flexible beams.·Can reset the drive unit assembly by folding up two flexible beams.When lift the drive unit assembly, there are enough space for the operator accomplish the electrical connection. When reset the drive unit assembly, the controller is a compact controller. The collapsible support structure can avoid the PLC controller becoming a massive cabinet.
