Disclosed is a solution to the amount of memory going waste in reminder emails about an activity having a due date.

It is best explained using following usecases.


1) In today's world, we have many bills such as electricity bill, telephone bill, data card bill & many other bills to pay in every month.

As sending e-bill has become common & popular nowadays, we are receiving bill details in an email from the service provider with due date mentioned in it.

As the bill's due date nears, we do receive reminder emails from the service provider's system.

These reminder mails which are unnecessary in most of the case will occupy a lot of storage space on the server end of our email systems & it also eats internet bandwidth & manual/automated effort in sending these emails on the service provider system.

For example, on Gmail server side, there could be many reminder emails occupying nearly 2% to 5% of the server side memory.


2) In an example, we receive emails to complete BCG trainig, POSH training & so on & there will be last date given in these emails to complete it.

As the due date nears, we start receiving reminder emails to complete these training. So, again in this case too, these reminder mails unnecessarily occupies email server system's memory space.

There is no efficient way to save this memory & effort & also to notify user about the activity in much efficient way.


3) We receive so many emails from so many e-commerce companies mentioning about the offer sale & the dates for which this offer sale is available.

For example, Myntra announces "Public Holiday offer sale" for the period of 28th April to 4th May & SpiceJet announces "Summer offer sale on air tickets for the period between April 1 to April 30th".

Apart from the initial email about these offers, these compaines do send reminder emails like "Last 3 days to avail this discount sale", "Hurry!! offer ends in next 4 days"..so on.

So, again in this case too, these reminder emails unnecessarily occupies email server system's memory space.

So, in the existing systems, there is no way to effectively handle these reminder mails so that memory space is saved & other manual/automated effort in sending emails is reduced
& the network bandwidth it eats is also reduced.

In the existing system, we have to manually delete these reminder emails.

In the existing system, the service provider or the initial email sender has to send reminder emails to the user to remind him about the due date of the activity. So the

service provider/sender has to put extra effort/resources in sending these reminder mails.

In the existing system, these reminder emails occupies user's account memory on the server side & thus causes unnecessary wastage of resources & problems to the user.
