Abstract

This disclosure intruduces a system and method to smartly control the elavator by connecting the elevator to the home doors, the wearable devices and the mobile phones. By monitoring the home door sensors, the system gets the signal of door open and closed, then it assumes someone wants to use the elevator. Then the system will call the elevator to the corresponding floor, and wait for the people to trigger the up or down service. In this way it saves the time of people to wait for elevator. This is especially useful for the domestic building where the elevator spare time is relatively long. Also for those who have to go out for daily work, they use the elevator in a regular way. All these information like when the door is closed and when the elevator button is pressed etc can be recorded and learnt by the elevator controlling system, which will help to provide more accurate and smart service.

1Background

With the development of society, the elevator usage is very common. But for traditional elevator, when there is no call, it will return to one certain floor which is usually the ground floor. When people want to use elevator and press the button, it usually takes a while and people have to wait during this time. This is a waste of time for people.

There are many elevator dispatching algorithm and system to optimize the elevator usage, but there is not a method to predict and learn the user behavior and provide more accurate and smart service.

2Summary

3.Description


1. This is the detailed description of how the system rate the priorities after get the signal of door open and closed.

a) For each day, the system records the door open&close events for all families. If system detects the door open&closed and also elevator button pressed, record the timestamp to the column "Time1", "Time2", "Time3". If system only detects the open&close door event and call the elevator to this floor but eventually without elevator button pressed, record it as"Break_Time1", "Break_Time2", etc.

b) System will record the history data for each family, it records the count of pressing the elevator button. The data is collected every 10 minutes. The table 2 is a single family history data (4F01).

System records the past 120 days' data ,and divide it into 5 ranges:
passed 1~10days(D1), 11~30days(D2), 31~60days(D3), 61~90days(D4) and91~120days(D5), record the count to press elevator button in each range.

Each range has a different factor, which means how it will impact the calculation of the rate to use the elevator. The factor can be defined by the administrator. But it is recommended that...
