Abstract

This invention provides a method to protect mobile users from suffering neck pains. There are two modes involved: a. Detection mode b, Warning mode In the detection mode, user's improper position of watching mobile devices and the duration of keeping the improper position are detected by the system. If in a sample duration, the vertical angle of user's neck is continuously above the warning level, the warning mode is triggered. The current page transforms until the user changes his head's position to an adjusting level, the user can view the content normally.

Nowadays, mobile devices serve as a tool that offer multiple functions such as communication, education, and entertainment. Sousers tend to spend more and more time on mobile devices each day in their spare time. For example, in the subway, a man would play mobile games on his way to work to release his pressure while female users prefer to watch videos during that time. However, keeping long time looking at the mobile devices would not only do harm to mobile users' eyesight but also cause serious neck pains. According to statiscs, the number of mobile users suffering cervical spondylosisis increasing year by year. Among them there are young children and teenagers whose necks are fragile compared to adults and are more likely to get hurt from staring at mobile devices for a long time.

Our invention provides a method to protect mobile users from suffering neck pains. There are two modes involved:
a. Detection mode
b, Warning mode
In the detection mode, user's improper position of watching mobile devices and the duration of keeping the improper position are detected by the system. If in a sample duration, the vertical angle of user's neck is continuously above the warning level, the warning mode is triggered. The current page transforms until the user changes his head's position to an adjusting level, the user can view the content normally.

In the detection mode, user's improper position of watching mobile devices and the duration of keeping the improper position are detected by the system. According to statistics of patients who suffered neck pains and their behavior patterns of using mobile devices, the main causeof neck problems is looking at the devices for a long time with head bending down.

Normally human being's brain weigh 10-12 pounds. When the vertical angle of the neck is between 15-30 degrees, the pressure on the neck will increase 27 pounds(about 12.2 kilograms) to 40 pounds (about 18kilograms). When the neck vertical angle is 60 degree, the pressure on the neck can be as high as 60

pounds, the same weight of an eight-year-old boy.

So we detect and record the vertical angle of user's neck by time. In order to detect the vertical angle of user's neck, we made the following definitions. Definitions´╝Ü
