Methods facilitating user by providing all the linklist related to a mail (within the content, its attachments and through its nested or direct reference ) upfront on the view level

There are several inventions which are patented / published around accessing /viewing emails with attachments. However there is no significant method, which can highlight email(s) containing links in the Inbox/Sent items etc. view.

There are emails with embedded links. Users need to go though the whole email to understand the number of links available. There is no significant method to access only links which are embedded in an email.

There could be multiple emails on the same subject and those emails could have embedded links. There is no significant method to access all the links shared across the email having same subject.

We propose a solution to which will allow user(s) to highlight email(s) containing links. The solution also includes a method to view a list of links associated with the email in one place.

The above solution can also be augmented by enabling user to view a list of links associated with the conversations having same subject.

Provisions;

1) Methods extracting the links embedded in an email or email attachments (entire email contents) to project these in a form of link list on the email notification displaying besides the subject, attachments, etc. options in the Inbox view.

2) This list of links will also contain links which have been opened from links within the mail or its attachments i.e. nested links.

3) This list of links will also contain links directly referenced from the mail i.e. links accessed to gather any data related to the mail content.

4) "Enable Link List" option which will enable highlighting emails with links in the Inbox or various relevant views indicating that email has certain links associated with its contents.

5) Displaying the relative text mentioned in the email related to the link on hover of the link from the Inbox view without opening the email.

6) Method to facilitate a user to access list of links associated with email from the view level.

Business Cases

Lets take the example of Review Teams. Reviewer reviews a disclosure and adds comments which has certain links coming close to the prior arts. What is normal action by the inventor? Inventor, opens the email, clicks on the comments link and then clicks the link and reads the mentions by the Reviewer.
