Disclosed is a method and system for evaluating surrounding text contextually in real time to project familiarity with location.

The method and system uses real-time communications to establish user history with a particular location. The method and system analyzes text communication for certain classified phrases and uses the phrases to identify whether the user is familiar with the location or not. Thereafter, based on the particular classifier found, a user interface component is displayed with an output relative to the classifier and thus the user's familiarity with the location. The user is able to interact with the contextual output which creates an enhanced experience with the location.

Consider an exemplary scenario, where a user is looking to try a new restaurant with a friend in an evening. The user texts the friend and says, "do you want to give Beasley's a try tonight?". The method and system analyzes the texts and contextually determines that the user is going to Beasley's for the first time. The method and system automatically suggest a list of delicious dishes that the user can try, as voted by the people who frequently go to the Beasley's.
