Holographic projection introduces a greater flexibility for creating digital three-dimensional (3D) objects in midair that are viewable without augmented reality (AR) glass. A user can interact with holographic objects including touching and moving

holographic objects. A holographic object enables a user to visualize digital objects without a display device. The object can be plotted in midair.

Common household activities (e.g., cooking, cleaning, children playing, etc.), can cause dangers if items and situations are mishandled. For example, a pot boils over, a glass breaks, a knife is not properly stored, etc.). A method is needed to help people avoid

accidents or dangerous situations around the house.

The novel contribution is a method and system to project contextual holographic objects associated with home equipment, which and guide the user to perform proper activities

in a safe manner. For example, the system can plot a holographic object around a hot pot, highlight an area with contextual holographic objects where broken glass items are found or water is accumulated on the floor, track any odd smells in a corner of the house, etc.

The system gathers data from within a household via various sensor data, camera feeds, ultrasound scanning, etc. A home network ecosystem uses a contextual

analysis engine to perform a severity analysis of the gathered data and identify a contextual situation of the home equipment, places, etc. The severity can be calculated based on user's awareness of the situation (e.g., user know there is a hot pot), age of the user, etc.).

Accordingly, one or more holographic projector(s) projects a context relevant holographic object(s) around said equipment and places. The dimension, shape, and orientation of the contextual holographic objects can be dynamically changed based on data gathered from various sources (e.g., hot pot cools down, broken glass items are removed from the place, etc.). If children are in the area, the system can enlarge the dimensions of the holographic object to create a larger safety zone.
