Disclosed a method and system for efficiently comparing newly created research against prior research to assert for homogeneity / heterogeneity between the results. Further, the method and system creates a trusted information chain which enables visibility of new creating researches and corresponding findings/results across all research communities.

The system has access to prior and current medical research data across multiple repositories including medical research data as illustrated in the Figure.

The system performs analysis of medical study data, for a given field to determine current hypothesis for current research studies. This may include a Mantel-Haenszel test on a given study (to determine confounding & bias within the study). Additional analysis is conducted on groups of studies to determine homogeneity / heterogeneity between each study we can do this using Tarone's test.

Through analysis of above data analysis, the system derives an iMedBlock co-efficient based on association strength between an accepted hypothesis of a study and new research that has been recently completed by research community. In an embodiment, the system derive the association using a Generalised Linear Regression model (GLM).
