Abstract

ZX1.5-R Panel with original design of PT disconnector has bounce effect when running, especially when operating CB, which may lead to voltage collapse, and the protection relay may react, and also is harmful for PT and our product quality, which is a potential risk for our products. Customer has complained this many times. Actually this is a common design issue in the switchgear industry. Original design is disconnector contact the main circuit directly, which belongs to passive design, is not stable. This invention used a spring steel plate in a grading shield. This design not only solved the bounce effect, but also optimized the electric field, especially for gas insulated switchgear. These points are quite different from original design in ABB or other competitors.The test result is positive.Details please find in attached file.

1. Background

 ZX1.5-R Panel with original design of PT disconnector has bounce effect when running,

especially when operating CB, which may lead to voltage collapse, and the protection relay may
