When multiple resources/services are allocation for the same task, user action will play an important role. Resource/service with the higher action rank will be selected over other resources/services.

It is a cloud era. More and more resources/services are deployed as cloud services. Each of these service may or may not provide the same capability. For example, one might provide storage service and another might provide weather forecast service. When the number grows, it is hard for user to know how to utilize each resources/services. Even if the user know which type of resources/services can be used, which one is the best choice fitting the requirement still is a question. There are many resource allocation algorithms which have been widely adopted by many distributed computing model. However, most of them are designed to be as automated as possible. Is there any possible that user interference can be introduced to make it more personalized ? Inventors of this invention disclosed another invention named Non-Directional Transmissible Task. With Non-Directional Transmissible Task, user can initiate a task that performs certain action to any resource or service that is accessible . This task will be broadcast to all resources and services that are accessible to the user. Execution of task will be based on whether resource/service could “understand” such task. However, task might be executed by multiple resources/services which leads to resource waste. Is there a better way to make the task only be executed by the most suitable resource/service?

Non-Directional Transmissible Task is one of a great scenario that leverage this invention. It unifies all accessible resources/services of a user. When user wants to perform certain action, he/she doesn’t need to initiate a task for a fixed destination. The task can be submitted to any resource/service whatever is accessible. This task will then be broadcast to all resources/services that are accessible to this user. Any resource/service that can ‘understand’ the task will perform it. Otherwise, the task will be discarded. It is possible that multiple resources/services can ‘understand’ the task which leads to resources/services waste. An optimized method is required to ensure that task will only be performed by the best available or the most correct resources/services. User action rank plays an important role in this optimized method. It will help the entire system evolve according to user expectation. For instance, if user submits a task and three resources/services could “understand” the task, all three resources/services will be valid candidates for executing such task.
