The present disclosure can greatly save network bandwidth consumption and save startup time by copying image to the local cache. The same type of virtual machines can start up without coping IMAGE from the original computer if the shared image can be detected, the VM (Virtual Machine) can start up directly from the shared image.

Virtual machine's startup speed often is slowly when user starts the batch of virtual machine. It's more serious in case of using large image due to a large number of Openstack network bandwidth is occupied. The reason is that the Glance component of the Openstack controller node will transmit mirror to computing node.

In some cases, it will affect the entire cloud environment, and will occupy a large number of storage space on the computing nodes. The present disclosure can greatly save network bandwidth consumption and save startup time, especially when launching plenty of large images by copying the image to the local cache. The same type of virtual machines can start up without coping IMAGE from the original computer if the shared image can be detected, the VM can start up directly from the shared image.

Advantages: This disclosure can accelerate the IMAGE's startup process by creating a sharing mechanism of image storage. Efficiency improvement model (see also paragraph 4 of this article).
