A method and system is disclosed for probabilistic analysis for personal real time medical symptoms.

In order to suggest appropriate diagnosis and treatment to a user, the system begins with creating a profile for the user.

The system periodically collects personal family history. Also, information pertaining to user’s personal medications such as frequency of prescription refills is collected. Additionally, user location data is also obtained automatically or manually from the user. Some diagnoses may be influenced by a location the user has visited, such as respiratory problems following visiting a city with elevated air pollution, which will rule out some causes and treatment plans. Further, personal purchase history is also tracked. For example, clues such as, the user visiting a coffee shop very frequently, the user buying a lot of processed food, and the user buying over the counter medications. Such consumption details would assist the system to accurately diagnose the user’s symptoms.

Moving on, once the profile of the user is created, the system is configured to suggest a better diagnosis and treatment for any question the user may have the user’s health. The system takes into account the user profile, takes into consideration additional clues for performing probabilistic analysis and look for personal reasons a user is having an issue.
