Motivation: With the rapid pace at which new technologies are evolving, skill sets required for a job role  are changing rapidly & potential employees are expected to keep up. [A.1] However, to continue being successful, organizations should be able to plan & have  effective skill development programs in place for the skill sets required from the future employees. Currently, there is no system which can help companies identify & predict the changing skill  sets that will be required in the near future. Projecting those future skills will allow the training, recruiting, and retention functions to focus on those new skill sets as well as create the corresponding job positions.

Problem: Currently, there is no system which can help companies identify & predict the changing skill  sets that will be required in the near future. Projecting those future skills are essential since training, recruiting, and retention functions  need to focus on those new skill sets.

Key Feature: A Skills Development & Management System (SDMS) that performs a skill demand analysis & predicts skill sets required by organizations in the future along with the corresponding job titles & descriptions that would need to be created.

Provisions: Advanced automated system to identify & predict future skill set demand by gathering &  consuming text, audio & visual inputs for Technical & Technological change, Consumer choice, Corporate strategy, competition & globalization, demographic change, macro-economic environment, etc. Based on Provision#1, system also suggests the creation of new job titles & job descriptions  corresponding to the predicted skill sets.
