Method and System for Using IPcenter Data to Perform Self -Healing Tasks for Automated Handling of Server Connection Errors

The IPcenter product provides the capability to implement virtual engineers which react to monitoring system alerts and ticketing system service requests. The IPcenter also provides eBonding to client specific monitoring and ticketing system, wherein eBonding is a specific service which synchronizes IPcenter's monitoring and ticketing systems with a client specific system. Finally, IPcenter centrally stores execution and configuration item data such as, but not limited to, server data which is used to match virtual engineers to monitoring system alerts, connect to target endpoint servers and communicate with monitoring and ticketing systems.

Inevitably, problems are encountered that results in a failure of the virtual engineers.

Disclosed is a method and system that uses special IPcenter virtual engineers which leverage IPcenter data and IPcenter's eBonding capabilities to perform self-healing tasks which eliminate failures in future virtual engineer executions.
