Method and System for Setting a Silent-Dark Mode During a Mobile Communication

Disclosed is a method and system for setting a silent-dark mode during a mobile communication. The method and system allows a user to communicate (receive or send messages or text) with other users in a dark environment or surrounding by activating a silent-dark mode on a mobile phone. The silent-dark mode is activated by the user on the mobile phone using gestures, vibrations, headphone, angles and specific signals or movement. The method and system further uses “appear or disappear” text to confirm a user action while sending messages or text in the dark environment or surrounding.

Figure 1 illustrates setting a silent-dark mode during a mobile communication.

Figure 1

As illustrated in in Figure 1, the method and system allows a user to activate a silent-dark mode on a mobile phone using a specific gesture. For example, the user can gesture three taps (i.e. "dot, dot, dot" or 3 taps) on the mobile phone to activate the silent dark mode. Accordingly, the mobile phone can verify and confirm if the user wants to switch to the silent-dark mode. For example, if the user is using headphones attached to the mobile phone, then the intelligent voice assistant can ask the user “Do you want to switch to silent-dark mode?” based on which the user is asked to input a specific gesture (i.e. "dot, dot " or 2 taps).

In the silent-dark mode, a user action is initiated and the user types a text or message or a written gesture such as "Text Heidi" to another user on the black screen. The mobile phone confirms the action of the user. The action is confirmed in various ways such as “appear or disappear” text. Alternatively, the action can be confirmed with voice when headphones are attached. The mobile phone confirms the action of the

user in various ways such as “appear or disappear” text. The user activates the silent-dark mode using a specific gesture. The user types a text or message or a written gesture to one of the mobile contacts. Once the messages are written and the user takes a pause, the text will appear and disappear for a few seconds. Though the mobile screen remains dark, only the messages or text is highlighted or becomes visible. The highlighted message or text can be controlled through a system application or the user’s phone settings. If the highlighted message or text disappears a specific gesture is used to disp...
