Method and System for Providing Weather Implications on Industrial Assets

Disclosed is a method and system for gathering weather data from various weather sources along with various sensors data, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) prescriptions, past historical data for predicting impact of weather on various Industrial assets such as, but not limited to, chillers, pumps, pipelines, towers, generators, transformers and large scale factories.

In accordance with the system, an administration console is provided for configuring incoming weather sources using REST API's. A weather asset model is defined in the system which has asset as master fixed data. The system defines parameters which need to be considered for asset health monitoring. The system also defines variables which need to be captured from sensor data. The system also provides details of the actions which need to be performed based on deterioration of an industrial asset due to weather condition. The system also includes a monitoring dashboard.

In accordance with the method and system, the weather asset model gets training data of industrial assets form various regions like coastal regions, high humidity and heavy snow regions, along with data of industrial assets in normal temperature and weather conditions and analyzes behavior / pattern of remaining useful life (RUL).
