Abstract

Historically from the safety point of view the telescopic control stick had to be labelled to inform the people not move it because the uncontrolled movement of the telescopic beam. The aim of the TCS Safety Guard tool is to avoid any no-intentional movement on the telescopic control stick (TCS) while it is in operative mode and the aircraft is on ground. The invention avoids movement of the telescopic control stick and its telescopic beam. Previously there was no industrial solution, the telescopic control stick were labelled with the warning "do not operate" to avoid stick operation.

3. Location and context

Generalities There are two TCS installed in RARO console (one for Boomer position and the other one for instructor position). See Figure 2.

4 Description of the Solution The aim of the safety guard is to avoid any no-intentional movement on the stick while it is in operative mode and the aircraft is on ground.
