Disclosed is a system and method for utilizing keyboard temperature sensors for controlling room temperature.

Currently, a lot of money is being spent on energy in big and small companies when it comes to Air Conditioning (AC). It is a difficult problem to automatically adjust the temperature in a smart way so that people feel comfortable, without taking into account the number of people in a room/building.

The solution to automatically adjust the temperature is a smart AC system, network connected to all the computers. The smart AC system would capture the body temperature of each one of the workers in the building, using a temperature sensor installed in the keyboard of the devices used by the workers. The smart AC system would then provide an average comfortable temperature base on the system readings.

The disclosed system and method includes the following: 1. A temperature keyboard sensor is installed in all computer/laptops devices. 2. The AC system is installed in a room. 3. A range of IP addresses are defined for users in the room. 4. A main server (or it could be an AC system server) retrieves information continuously (time previously defined by user) from all the temperature reads in the room. 5. AC Server calculates the body temperature average and increments or decrements the temperature in the room.
