Title: Voice with Artificial Intelligence for Maintenance Application
Description: As described below, a process and method for using voice with artificial intelligence for vehicle maintenance applications, is disclosed. This document describes a process and method for a vehicle (e.g., an off‐road vehicle or work vehicle) to recognize voice commands or questions with regards to various maintenance tasks, such as vehicle diagnostics, vehicle maintenance scheduling, and performing vehicle maintenance. In addition voice commands or questions may be related to the retrieval of information from various manuals, such as technical manuals, parts manuals, or operators’ manuals. Information may also be retrieved from other sources, such as dealer‐sourced information that may be accessed through a mobile wireless communications device. Commands or questions could originate with either the vehicle, the vehicle operator, or the vehicle service technician. Examples of voice commands or voice questions could include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Vehicle asks: “…You have a DTC (i.e., a Diagnostic Trouble Code) related to [a particular] sensor. Would you like to order a new sensor?”
2. Vehicle asks: “…You are approaching the service interval for engine oil. Do you want me to schedule service with your dealer?”
