The Fuel Cell vehicles will introduce a wireless communication interface system for Hydrogen refueling purpose. A question yet unanswered is the wake up strategy of the wireless refueling unit (WRU) inside the fuel cell vehicle. Continous sniffing of UHF (Ultra High Frequency) signal will result in huge current draw and power consumption by the module, which will discharge the battery fast.
